FYI, a few notes on Aurora experiments so far:

        1. 5/19, The Bellcore Sunshine switch was used with the AURORA SONET 
transmission facilities to route ATM cells between an RS/6000 at DSL at UPenn 
and an RS/6000 at MRE of Bellcore.
        2. 5/20, a UNIX stream-to-ATM cell programs running on the
RS/6000s conveyed data from UPenn to Bellcore through the Sunshine,
continuously, for over 1/2 hour, displaying the stream on a screen at
MRE
