Steve,

HR 1757 has been passed by the House Committee on Science, Space, and
Technology and awaits a vote by the full House of Representatives.  If it is
not merged into other legislation for which a counterpart has passed by the
Senate, it will need to pass the Senate (and go through 1 or more Senate
committees prior to a Senate vote).  It is unclear at this point whether it
will or will not go to the Senate.
