Subject: [gnu: Policies for dealing with insecurely certified email]
There's been recent discussions in PEM-DEV of what should happen to email which uses Privacy-Enhanced Mail protocols, but where the identify of the sender can't be determined. Sometimes this is because the authority figure who certified their identity isn't trusted; other times, because the authority deliberately doesn't attempt to certify identity. One suggestion was that such mail be automatically rejected; others have proposed various degrees of annoyance to the person reading the mail. My response: ------- Forwarded Message
