Two items of some interest

1. IBM sells the ThinkPad 220. It is A5 size and weights 1 kilo. Full nice
keyboard with mouse ball VGA display, 80 meg hard disk 2mg of memory 386 sl
at 16 mh. runs on ac or 8 AA s. Downers -- PCMCIA 1 slot (why oh why in a
new machine)!!!!! No announced built in modem and with a PCMCIA 1 no card
modem.

2. The Sumitomo Chemical plant that blew with 60% of the world epoxy (sp)
material may not be rebuilt. Why -- they claim they made no money on it!!
