NY users interestied in obtaining a declaritory ruling on the matter onf 
New York's Info Tax may wish to join forces (as we have done before on 
this mattwern dand "modem" tax issue
) by joining the Committee of Corporate Telecommunications Users.  


This is a not for profit group which represents telecommunications and 
information users in FCC and State-level PSC issues.  


Interested parties may reply on here or call 800-989-5625.  In the past we have 
been successful in deflecting the applications of these sort of taxes both on 
the City and State level.
