 AUSTIN, Texas (UPI) -- Gov. Ann Richards said Friday she expects the
federal government to reimburse Texas for some $400 million in state
funds spent on the Superconducting Super Collider -- either in cash or
through the funding of a smaller, high-energy project at the present
