interesting problem

Th following partial note is being sent to a very large number of people.
It is a link in a chain letter. This type of letter is illegal in many
countries including the UK. This email letter circulated in the UK . Does
or does it not violate the law and if so "so what" -- that is what can one
do.  Maybe it is time for the International EMAIL Conventions.
