The Administration has released its "White Paper on
Communications Act Reforms."  Copy is available from the NTIA
Bulletin Board "nii@ntia.doc.gov".  Instead of introducing a
separate bill, the House bills HR 3636 and HR 3626 will be the
vehicles for passage.  The subcommittee mark-up is scheduled for
late February and full committee mark-up in March.


Please review the text of the white paper to determine if CCIP
should take any action.
