HIGH-TECH SKILLS STANDARDS. Voluntary standards for high-tech job skills
were unveiled by Labor Secretary Robert Reich Friday. The standards were
developed by the American Electronics Association and are designed to help
guide education, training, assessment and ultimately creation of a portable
skill credential system that would be recognized by firms nationwide.
