The great "debate" between the Administration and the opponents
of Clipper took place today in the Capital building from 11am
until just before 1pm in front of a reasonably large (75?) group of
Congressional staffers.


Unknown to all of us (I think) before we got there was the fact
that CSPAN was recording it. It may be televised sometime in the
next few days.


I think it was as good a presentation of all sides of the issue
as I have heard all at one time.
