  Dave - IP might be interested in the IEEE Computer Society's
  latest electronic publishing project .  As you know, we did
  CD-ROM verions of the proceedings of Supercomputing '92 and '93
  using image-based technology with searching on title, author, and
  abstracts.  For Visualization '94 we used Adobe Acrobat
  technology.  Now with Supercomputing '94 (being held this coming
  week in Washington, DC) we've launched our first HTML
  proceedings.  It's a first effort, but we think it's pretty good.

  It's been up only since last night.  We're eager for comments and
  suggestions.  IPers are invited to send email www.computer.org
  and help us improve the product/process as we continue to move
  toward greter use of electronic media for dissemination of
  technical informaiton.
