CALL FOR PAPERS
INET'95
The 5th Annual Conference of the Internet Society
The Internet: Towards Global Information Infrastructure
Honolulu, Hawaii, USA
27-30 June 1995
INET'95, the 5th Annual Conference of the Internet Society, focusing on
worldwide issues of Internet networking, will be held on 26-30 June 1995 in
Hawaii. The goal of this conference is to provide a platform that will bring
together those developing and implementing Internet networks, technologies,
applications, and policies worldwide for infrastructure development. The theme
of INET'95 is "The Internet: Towards Global Information Infrastructure."
Since 1991, The INET conferences have become a common meeting ground for
participants interested in the design, implementation, operation and use of
the Internet. Global policy and economic issues, ethical concerns, and many
technical issues are raised in a variety of contexts. The rapid influx of
commercial and individual uses on the Internet has influenced the nature of
the system and broadened its utility. The importance of the Internet and its
technology to all sectors of the global economy is growing as is the social
impact of access to the Internet. Internet Society encourages its members
and all other interested parties to submit papers and to plan active
participation in this conference.
In addition to the Network Training Workshop for Developing Countries prior to
the INET Conference, the K12 Workshop, a special workshop for elementary and
secondary school use of the Internet is also planned.

In addition to the above tracks, INET'95 will encompass certain
horizontal subject threads. One such thread is the World Wide Web(WWW),
and papers are solicited relating to WWW developments as furthering Global
Information Infrastructure.
Information for Paper Submission.
The official language of the conference is English.
Papers will be selected based on two-page extended abstracts. The abstracts
should include name, address, affiliation, phone number, fax number, and
email address. They should also include a keyword list, tied to the track
topics listed above. Upon acceptance, full papers will be required.
Instructions for preparation of these papers will be provided upon acceptance.
some of the submitted papers will be presented at Poster Sessions.
Extended abstracts in plain ASCII text should be submitted by 13 January 1995 to
inet-submission@interop.com

Demonstrations.
Participants may present their projects or activities in demonstration form.
Proposed demonstrations should be documented with a description not exceeding
one page.
Tutorials.
The tutorials will be held in 27 June. You may submit the proposal for the
tutorials by 13 January 1995 to

Developing Country Workshop.
The Network Training Workshop for Developing Countries will be a week-long
program in 18-24 June of intensive instruction, with a hands-on emphasis on
Internet set-up, operations, maintenance, and management. The Workshop covers
the four program tracks:
Dial-up Networking Technology
TCP/IP Networking Technology
Network Navigation and Services

K12 Workshop.
The INET'95 will also be preceded by a tentative two-day program bringing
together active K12(Kindergarten through Secondary School) Internet innovators
from around the world to share experiences and learn new advanced tools and

Publications.
Conference proceedings containing full papers will be distributed to
the participants at the conference. They are also available in WWW at
Internet Society.

INET'95 will be held at the Sheraton Waikiki Conference Center with
some events at the adjoining Royal Hawaiian Hotel. General information
concerning the conference, registration, and a variety of hotel
