WHAT'S IN A NAME (WHEN IT'S INTERNET)?


An electronic banking company called Internet Inc. has a lock on using
"Internet" in a name, having received a trademark on the word in 1990. The
U.S. Patent & Trademark Office now has 64 unhappy applicants pressuring it
to reconsider its decision, with everyone from the Internet Society to
Internet in a Box technically in legal limbo until the issue is sorted out.
