Unconfirmed -- INTEL SAYS IT WILL REPLACE ALL PENTIUMS

Intel issued a press release this morning saying that it will
replace any Pentium chip any time over the life of users' PC's.
The replacement will be given to anyone who asks, either through
Intel or the the PC's OEM.  Intel will also provide installation
free of charge through service providers.


...they finally caved in.  Probably should have bought some Intel
stock yesterday...
