KOBE-QUAKE on majordomo@cygnus.com - Kobe Earthquake Recovery Assistance List


   The KOBE-QUAKE list was set up to assist volunteer organisations
and professionals who are helping with recovery efforts from the
January '95 great Kobe earthquake.  Contributions to the list will
probably be in English or Japanese.


   The list will aim to provide information such as:


	1. Who is offering assistance (skills/goods/shelters/etc.)?
	2. Who is receiving/requesting offers for assistance?
	3. What skills/specialities/goods are currently needed?
	4. How to go about offering assistance?
	5. Reports/discussions about practical experiences and problems.


   The list is NOT intended for people who are looking for (or trying
to relay messages to) individuals.
