Interesting additional legal question re U of M

Many folk are saying things like:

on the same "public newsgroups" that he sent out his "work" on.


Sounds like grounds for libel (or defamation) suits if he
is found innocent. In fact if any of them are moderated , I
wonder if the moderator can be also brought to court


We do live in a complex society. The addressing of many of
these issues were part of the charter of the EFF -- to see
that our laws are adopted to the reality of cyberspace.
