IP: NIELSEN COUNTS ON THE NET

After triggering controversy last year over its Internet user counting
methodology, the A.C. Nielsen company is back -- with even higher figures.
The company was roundly criticized when it projected some 24 million North
American Internet users, but after going back and reinterviewing 2,800 of
the original 4,200 survey participants, Nielsen now says that the only
problem with the first numbers is that they were a little low.
