     CUPERTINO, Calif. (AP) - Apple Computer co-founder Steve Jobs,
  citing the firm's "egalitarian, entrepreneurial" heritage, is axing
  sabbaticals, ending cash bonuses for executives and cutting
  severance pay. Jobs is now Apple's de facto leader. He announced
  the changes at the troubled high-tech firm in an electronic mail
  memo to employees.
