IP: What ever happened to Old Ma Bell

For hours today, I was issolated. All my phones, my ISDN line and even my
Bell Atlantic Cellular were out. My cellular could not dial outside the
very local area and my phomes and isdn were completely out. The weather was
great and no one seemms to know what is up.


Luckily I also have a Sprint PCS which worked s I could call a neighbor who
called Bell Atlanic.


One of the joys of the electronic age is what happens when the
infrastructure fails. I had planned to work at home but had nothing I
needed so I just goofed off ( :-)  )
