The thieves took the $70k machines from a cage in the co-location facility operated by Best Internet Communications in San Francisco. Each server weighs about 200 pounds, there were no signs of forced entry, and none of the other cages with equally expensive equipment were broken into. The FBI and local cops are on the case. CNet's article has more details, and CORE may have a press release on their site by the time you read this.
