IP: Senate Democrats Call For Spectrum Solution

Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle and five other Democratic Senators sent 
a letter to the White House asking for an aggressive response to the 
spectrum shortage facing the American telecommunications industry. The 
letter noted that: "One of the greatest challenges facing the United States 
economy is finding the spectrum needed to permit deployment of advanced 
wireless communications systems." (Reuters)
