September 28, 2001 (TOKYO) -- Nikkei Byte and Nikkei WinPC magazines held 
and co-hosted a contest dubbed "Best of World PC Expo 2001" in which they 
selected excellent exhibits of hardware products.

Both magazines gave the awards to the following eight products and 
technologies. These awards are decided by ballots of the two magazines.

World PC Expo 2001 was held at the Japan Convention Center (Makuhari Messe) 
from Sept. 19-22.
