SPAM!
Over the holidays, i've noticed my inbox is *exploding* with SPAM.
So i've decided to track down and kill every single one of them.
So far I've found:
A site in a Qwest Cybercenter
Dialup at Bellsouth relayed through Cornell.edu
A Concentric Network site relaying via an "invisible" relay in Japan
An ISP in Italy
At least 2 other dialup-ISPs in the US.
And that was 8 hours worth of SPAM only.
About that Invisible relay in Japan - JPNIC has this policy that it wont
show you address referrals for companies with address space within their
domain. This makes it impossible to track down open relays over there
(which figured in 2 different pies of SPAM)
I'm going to track down *every single one* of these guys and get their
accounts closed. Whats disturbing is the amount of this coming from the US
now. That used to not be true.
