There was a lot of chatter about Qwest's privacy policy. Apparently the
company has backed off, see the following:

Subject: Privacy Watch: Qwest Opts Out of Info-Sharing

The following may be attributed to
Stephen Keating, executive director
of the Privacy Foundation, in Denver:

"Qwest's announcement today that it
will suspend plans to share calling
information internally, or with
marketing partners, is great news
for the company's customers in 14
states. Qwest could have avoided the
tangle by asking customers
to opt-in to the new program,
rather than opt-out."
