Subject: IP: more on -- a bit of humor a follow up to your e-mail on tests for 16 year olds
Date: Tue, 29 Jan 2002 00:54:48 -0800 From: Brad Templeton <brad@templetons.com> To: farber@cis.upenn.edu Most of that is a bastardization of a classic "world according to student bloopers" essay by Richard Lederer, who was a teacher at St. Paul's School. It appears in his books such as Anguished English. I first reprinted it myself back in 1998 (you can see the original version at http://www.netfunny.com/rhf/jokes/88q2/12317.html ) but Richard was very kind and willing to tolerate it as long as attribution was added. I later got to know him, and published his column online for a while at ClariNet. He's a great guy with a lot of other great experiences. He has a web page at: http://pw1.netcom.com/~rlederer/
