Dave, there are already hundreds of copies available through
file-sharing networks -- most at high sampling rates that the average
listener couldn't tell weren't original recordings.

This may become the most ripped CD in history, if only out of spite.
It's telling that places like cdmediaworld.com already have tutorials
posted on how to work through the copy protection:
