Corporate executives sometimes avoid using the word ``dominant'' to describe
their businesses for fear of attracting unwanted attention from federal
antitrust officials.

Times have changed.

``I don't think I would say this if John Ashcroft wasn't attorney general,''
said Scott McNealy, founder and chief executive of Sun Microsystems, ``but
we dominate 64-bit computing.''
