David,

I thought you might find this of interest:

This weekend I went out, following the heards of computer users before me,
and purchased an NEC-Mitsubishi 18" Flatpanel display. The deskspace is
slowly coming to an end, but more importantly, owning an LCD is the 'cool'
thing, nowa' days. So, I came home from my local retailer, unpacked the
unit, placed it ever so carefully on my desk and ... headaches.

My head hurt terribly after only about the first 5-10 minutes of use - So
badly that I almost couldn't stand to look at the screen. Alas, I played
with the drivers, tried XP Professional as it has better video support and
nothing. Still those darned headaches. So, I brought the unit back and I'm
sitting in front of my Sony writing this to you.

What I find incredibly odd is that I have been a laptop user for about 5
years now and notice no similar problems. I'm wondering what the take is on
this?

I found an interesting article referencing this below:

Feel free to do what you must with the above text as I am tired, and likely
mumbling, etc. :-)

Regards,
Phil Jackson
