It's a slick, good looking little device that does a nice job of getting
music from the PC to the stereo. The server software is open source and
there are very active support and development forums at
groups.yahoo.com. Many users are coupling this with a wireless bridge to
get it onto their W-LAN.

There's a lot of vaporware being touted in this developing category, but
this unit has been shipping for about a year and a half.  And getting
good reviews:
