Subject: DDOS attack detected

Network monitoring systems today detected a massive DDOS attack in the US
and UK.   In a mysterious statistical anomaly, traditional practical jokers
were blocked by sinister, serious forces of darkness, eliminating or
rendering unfunny almost all English language humor.

Sources in the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security
refused to be quoted, but are taking the incidents quite seriously.
