Dave - Not to beat this issue up, but yesterday I ran a LexisNexis
search to locate this article, and sent you the results, which were
zero. LexisNexis has a complete database of articles in all major
magazines, including all of Time magazine back as far as you'd like. At
least 10 years, in the search I performed. I'm convinced this article
was never in Time magazine, but may have appeared in a specialized
periodical of some sort. My own writing and journalism experience has me
wonder whether the article at the link you sent (below) is even a
fabrication or an urban legend. It was found on this website millat.com
which doesn't seem supportable. Now this is becoming a curious kind of
thing ...
