Subject: [IP] VERY VERY Sad news of a friend and Iper

I first met Rob when he was a Assist Prof at UC Irvine where I started my
academic career. Rob was one of the people I always admired. He balanced
Comp Sci, Social Sciences and Public Policy and had an impact.

I will miss him very much.

Dave

Very sad and shocking news indeed. Rob and I (and my wife) knew each other
since 1961 when we were all freshmen at Columbia.
