Subject: [IP] Which of you is right?
Date: Sat, 31 May 2003 16:26:37 -0400 From: "James H. Morris" <james.morris@cmu.edu> Subject: Which of you is right? To: "W. Brian Arthur" <wbarthur@parc.com>, ncarr@hbsp.harvard.edu Gentlemen: Brian says the IT bubble signals the beginning of a big buildout (Business 2.0, March 2002) while Nicholas (HBR, May 2003) says it signals the end. Much of what you two say is very cogent and even consistent, but your really contradict each other on this point. What does the historical record say? Why don't you two shoot it out on Dave Farber's IP dlist? :-) James H. Morris Dean, School of Computer Science 412 609-5000 http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~jhm
