Now you'll be hassled at the airport, too The Washington Post reports, at http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A57122-2003Jun13?language=printer that the US Government has reacted to criticisms of its CAPPS II computerized passenger screening system by coming up with another scheme that's equally bad -- if not worse. According to the article, the TSA will use "personal details collected for marketing and business purposes" to determine how carefully to scrutinize passengers at airports. In short, if you have unpaid debts or bad credit, have moved frequently, or have been the victim of identity theft, you'll be more likely to be hassled at the airport, too. Just what we need.... --Brett ------ End of Forwarded Message ------------------------------------- To manage your subscription, go to http://v2.listbox.com/member/?listname=ip Archives at: http://www.interesting-people.org/archives/interesting-people/
