In response to the message from Travis Kalanick:

First, the story he refers to, while posted on our web site, is not by a
Washington Post reporter, but by the Associated Press, and clearly labeled
as such.

Second, I was at the hearing, and can assure list readers that Mr. Hatch
was in no way being sarcastic. He was quite serious, and made various
versions of the statement a couple of times. IP-ers can decide for
themselves about his new statement today.
