Abstract

Jack Valenti, president of the Motion Picture Association of America
(MPAA), will discuss the impact of digital technology on the
entertainment industry. Drawing on his experience as an advocate for
major producers and distributors of entertainment programming for
television, cable, home video, he will discuss the promise and the
dangers of emerging technologies for the production and distribution
of films and TV shows.
