Nonsense. This is nothing more than a simple act of naive bigotry. A 
bunch of ignorant Americans were terrified by... a bunch of Syrian 
minstrels. Behavior like this is what is causing Indian engineers and 
others who look "foreign" to start leaving Silicon Valley because of 
the suspicious looks, whispers and outright expressions of hostility. 
Instead of triggering calls for profiling, Ms. Jacobsen's piece should 
trigger national reflection on rising American racism and xenophobia.
