Dave,

Depending on your definition of what is 3G, our stats on
the current global market distribution for 3G mobile technologies
can be found on Slide 39 at
http://www.itu.int/wsis/preparatory2/wgig/itu-tutorial-policy.pdf

If you take a more stringent 3G definition and exclude CDMA
1x technology, Korea and Japan have about 85% of the world's
approximately 15 million subscribers. If you take the broader
defintion, there are currently about 115 million subscribers globally.
