You should be aware that CherryOS may not be all it's cracked up to be.
There are suspicions that the code is largely lifted from the PearPC
emulator.  PearPC is a working PowerPC emulator that can boot MacOS X
right now, but performance leaves something to be desired, as would be
expected with software emulation.  If you'd like to try PearPC right
now, it's freely available from:

Furthermore Slashdot has a pretty detailed analysis about the project
and it's lead developer, Arben Kryeziu.  It also examines the fact that
Mr. Kryeziu has possibly violated the GNU General Public License in the
past.
