A recent story about 58,000 missing absentee ballots in Broward County.

Especially interesting is the note that:

"On election day itself, those who requested absentee ballots will only  
be able to vote in person if they bring the blank absentee forms with  
them."

That is, if it didn't arrive, you can't vote on election day.

You almost have to admire these guys. Eliminating 58,000 ballots has to  
be so much easier than registering 58,000 new voters.
