Many of your readers I'm sure know who Professor Tanenbaum is.  Today we
see the curtain pulled back from the popular electoral-vote.com site:

Interestingly, Professor Tanenbaum not long ago had the following text
on his home page:

  "Know people outside the U.S.?  Help change the world."

The second sentence was a link to the following:

  <http://www.tellanamericantovote.com/>

That text and link no longer appear, but Google's cache still shows a
copy as of a few minutes ago.
