Dave,

Interesting article today on the recording industry in
Canada and its claims about the impact on P2P on music
sales.  The article suggests that the actual impact is
much smaller than is commonly percieved with smaller
losses, much of which is attributable to changes in
the retail landscape (price pressure from Wal-Mart,
smaller catalog sales), the popularity of DVDs, and
changing interests.
