So, using the built-in mic on his Mac Powerbook, was he?  Talking in
normal conversational tones on board an airplane, to someone a
continent away, explaining to them how great it was to make this
telephone call.

I'm sure glad he wasn't sitting anywhere near me.

But I imagine someone like him will be sitting near me in the future,
and it already gets me annoyed.  Civility goes another step down the
drain.
