Just FYI: Qwest, our ILEC, does offer "naked DSL" (DSL without phone
service). Our local cable company, which is locked in a bloody price
war with them, recently began to offer "naked" cable modem service
to compete. But both are priced significantly higher than if you
have their other services. Our wireless broadband beats them both. ;-)
