Subject: [IP] "Domestic Spying" vs. "Terrorist Surveillance"
-----Original Message----- From: "Lee Revell" <rlrevell@joe-job.com> To: "David Farber" <dave@farber.net> Sent: 2/9/06 15:57 Subject: "Domestic Spying" vs. "Terrorist Surveillance" (for IP if it's interesting enough) Do any of the media types on IP have a plausible explanation for why CNN has fallen in line with the Administration and is now calling the domestic spying program an "anti-terrorist surveillance program"? Did the WH get to them, or are they really so terrified of charges "liberal bias" that they just unquestioningly toe the line? This is the kind of behavior I expect from Fox News. "At least one Democrat left saying he had a better understanding of legal and operational aspects of the anti-terrorist surveillance program. But he said he still had a number of questions." http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/02/09/eavesdropping.ap/index.html Lee ------------------------------------- To manage your subscription, go to http://v2.listbox.com/member/?listname=ip Archives at: http://www.interesting-people.org/archives/interesting-people/
