There was a Simpsons episode from a few months ago where Lisa inexplicably turned on their TV to watch "The OC". There was a 10 second (unfunny for the Simpsons) clip of the OC characters going to Knottsberry Farm set to what sounded like their show's theme music. Then Milhouse makes a crack about TV writers not being paid enough. Apparently even the mighty Simpsons cannot escape the clutches of our new product placement overlords.
