Subject: Re: [IP] more on China Builds a Better Internet Reply-To: rdv@tera.ics.keio.ac.jp Dave, Just to inject one note of data into this conversation: China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) recently issued estimates saying that there are 123 million Internet users in China (second to the U.S.), and that the number of active bloggers is estimated at 7.7M. The total number of blogs set up is estimated at 34M, by 17.5M people. Of course, everyone on this list knows that there isn't a 1:1 correspondence between Internet users and IP addresses, but it gives a feel for the demand.http://www.webwereld.nl/articles/43016/china-has-7-7-million-active- bloggers--cnnic-says.html
