An important thing to note here is that iTunes has very few exclusive  
items, which is why the past FairPlay cracks haven't been updated  
since there's very little incentive to spend a lot of time  
circumventing a DRM system when the same content is available from  
ripped CDs.

In contrast the fact that HD video is largely only available in DRMed  
form which cannot be backed up and has many reports of erroneously  
denying access to legitimate users provides a much greater incentive  
for someone to circumvent that DRM.
