http://www.ldnews.com/news/ci_5252248 and sidebar http://www.ldnews.com/news/ci_5252251This was as close to a term paper as I've written in many years. I'm not sure what grade I would get. I felt I did my best, which is always good. But if I use my wife as a judge, I think I failed as a reporter. She is a well-educated speech therapist, although somewhat technologically challenged , and she got lost midway
At least our readers will have heard of the issue, even if I failed to explain it well to them. I did get a nice e-mail from one woman, whom I knew was well versed on the matter. She was appreciative and surprised that it was covered by the local daily.
Thanks again. It was a pleasure and honor to speak with you. I'll be interested in following the debate and your involvement in it.
Sincerely, John -------------------------------------------
