Deadline Announced

The FCC has announced OMB approval of the Rural Health Care Pilot  
Program information collection requirements and the deadline for  
filing applications is set for May 7, 2007.

NLR and its member Regional Optical Networks (RONs) are pleased to be  
a part of this program as it is part of the NLR-RONs’ National  
Healthcare Delivery Initiative. The NLR-RONs project plans to connect  
and integrate health care facilities into the RONs and then to  
connect them to the NLR backbone via the RONs.
